Power Project Management, LLC ("PPM") provides professional project management services to the power industry. PPM has combined the resources and experience of Fox Enterprises and Pacitti Group, Inc. Together they have the experience and resources to undertake a wide variety of projects in the power and industrial sectors.
DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
PPM brings a comprehensive approach to project development. PPM works with the client to determine the appropriate equipment and its configuration to achieve the technical and economic goals established by the client. The permitting requirements are evaluated to determine how the project can best meet the applicable federal state and local restrictions and limitations while achieving compliance with all permits and approvals and the operational reliability of the project.
PROJECT BUDGET
PPM works with the client to establish a comprehensive budget to cover the project's costs. The budget would include: development costs, permitting costs, engineering costs, equipment costs, construction costs, and the costs for financing and interest during construction (if applicable). A contingency will be established in a manner consistent with the client's standard practices and the extent to which hard costs are determined.
PROJECT SCHEDULE
PPM will work with the client to establish a project schedule that will be used by the project team to measure progress. The schedule will cover activities from commencement of development activities through to commercial operation of the project. Details of the construction schedule will be developed by the construction contractor and incorporated into the project schedule.
PPM utilizes Primavera Systems scheduling software.
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
PPM will develop, issue and summarize RFPs for major equipment and contractors to help ensure that the best terms and conditions can be obtained.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
PPM will work with the Client's team to negotiate a comprehensive construction schedule to assure that the project's technical requirements are clearly identified, and that the contractor's and Owner's obligations are delineated.
CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGEMENT
PPM will provide and manage the construction management team. The team will act as the Owner's Representative during construction ensuring that the construction contractor meets the terms and conditions of the construction contract. The team will witness various tests and inspections and will track the progress of the construction contractor to allow payment for work completed.
The team would be comprised of civil, mechanical, electrical and Instrument & control engineers who are brought onto the team at the appropriate times and released as necessary. The client is encouraged to provide a member from its operations group to gain an understanding of the project each step along the way. Other client resources could be incorporated into the project team including environmental, legal and accounting resources.
